Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Selllin's website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Selllin ("Selllin," "we," "us," or "our") operates as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers of second-hand electronics in India.

Account Creation

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

KYC Verification for Sellers

All sellers must complete our Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process before listing products. This includes:

• Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driver's License)
• Live selfie verification
• Contact information verification (phone and email)
• Bank account details for payment processing

We reserve the right to reject any verification submission or suspend accounts that fail to meet our standards.

Selllin provides a platform for users to buy and sell second-hand electronics. We do not own, sell, or take possession of the items listed on our Platform.

Permitted Items

• Used and refurbished consumer electronics
• Computer components and peripherals
• Mobile devices and tablets
• Gaming consoles and accessories
• Audio and video equipment

Selllin uses licensed third-party payment partners to securely process transactions between buyers and sellers.

• Payment Processing: When a buyer completes a purchase, the payment is securely processed through our third-party payment partners.
• Order Verification Period: After receiving the product, the buyer has up to 2 days to inspect the item and confirm that it matches the listing description.
• Confirmation or Issue Reporting: During this period, the buyer may confirm satisfaction with the purchase or report an issue through the Platform.
• Seller Payout: Once the transaction is confirmed, the payment partner processes the payout to the seller, minus applicable platform fees.
• Automatic Completion: If no issue is reported within the verification period, the transaction may be automatically completed according to the policies of the payment partner.

You agree not to:

• List counterfeit, stolen, or illegally obtained products
• Provide false or misleading information about products or services
• Engage in price manipulation or fraudulent bidding
• Attempt to circumvent our payment processing system
• Contact buyers/sellers to complete transactions outside the Platform
• Use the Platform for money laundering or other illegal activities
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to hack, compromise, or interfere with the Platform's security
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or reviews

As a seller, you agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions and images of products
• Disclose all defects, damages, or issues with the product
• Ship products within 2 business days of payment confirmation
• Package items securely to prevent damage during shipping
• Provide valid tracking information for all shipments
• Honor the price and terms listed in your product description
• Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

As a buyer, you agree to:

• Read product descriptions carefully before purchasing
• Ask questions if you need clarification before buying
• Inspect products immediately upon delivery
• Report any issues within 2 days of delivery
• Provide honest and fair feedback after transactions
• Not abuse the dispute resolution system
• Return products in the same condition if a dispute is approved

If a dispute arises between a buyer and seller, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through Selllin's dispute resolution process:

1. The buyer initiates a dispute through their account within 2 days of delivery
2. Both parties provide evidence (photos, messages, tracking information)
3. Selllin may review submitted evidence and facilitate communication between the buyer and seller to help resolve the dispute
4. Decisions may include full refund, partial refund, or rejection of the dispute
5. All dispute decisions are final and binding

For disputes that cannot be resolved through our process, you agree to binding arbitration in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India in accordance with Indian law.

Selllin charges the following fees:

• Seller Commission: 5% of the final sale price
• Payment Processing: Processing fees may be charged by third-party payment providers depending on the payment method used.
• Buyer Protection Fee: ₹50 per transaction (paid by buyer)
• KYC Verification: Free for all users
• Listing Fee: Free (no charges to create listings)

We reserve the right to change our fee structure with 30 days' notice to users.

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, images, and software, is the property of Selllin or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

By posting content on Selllin, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on our Platform.

Selllin is a marketplace platform and acts solely as an intermediary between buyers and sellers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed on our Platform.

Selllin is not a financial institution, payment processor, or escrow provider. Payment services are provided by licensed third-party payment partners.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, you remain liable for all outstanding transactions and fees.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through a notice on our Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
